How It Works
Modules (sections of your home) are built in our 40,000+ SF Oklahoma City, Oklahoma facility. Each module is inspected for quality, tested, and delivered to your site where they're assembled in just 2-4 weeks.
What Happens Inside the Factory
Precision cutting and assembly happen on CNC machinery, in climate-controlled assembly space. Electrical, plumbing and HVAC are built into each module before it leaves. Every module goes through factory inspections and testing, then a final walkthrough before it is loaded for delivery. You receive progress photos while your home is being built, and you are welcome to visit the facility and see it in person.
The Seven Stages of a SaltGrass Build
- Discovery: you share your vision, budget, timeline and site details.
- Design: 3D renderings, floor plans, structural and MEP design, and a cost breakdown by category.
- Permitting: we submit plans to local authorities and obtain permits before fabrication begins.
- Fabrication: your modules are built, inspected and tested in our Oklahoma facility.
- Delivery: modules are transported to your site, timed with site prep and foundation completion.
- Installation: modules are connected and sealed, utilities are connected and tested, and final inspections are completed.
- Handoff: a final walkthrough, systems training and warranty documentation before you move in.

Can I make changes once fabrication starts?
Changes are possible before fabrication begins. Once cutting and assembly start, changes become expensive, which is why the design is locked before Stage 4.
Who handles the site prep and foundation?
You coordinate with your local contractor or hire one we recommend. We provide detailed foundation specs and coordinate timing with delivery.
Can I see the factory?
Yes. Our facility is in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. We encourage homeowners to visit, and you receive progress photos throughout fabrication.
